Privacy notice

In short: the quote form is the only place this site collects personal details. Requests are read, not answered for now, and erased within a month.

Whose site this is

Neil Evans runs Orton Patios as a sole trader and decides how any information sent through it is used, which makes him the data controller. Write to hello@ortonpatios.co.uk with any query about it.

Information you give

The form requests a name, a contact number and the postcode where the work would be, together with whatever patio details you choose to add, such as the kind of work, a size, a material, timing or a message. An email address and photographs are optional. No analytics, profiling or tracking runs on these pages.

How requests are dealt with at the moment

No patio firm is linked to Orton Patios yet. Until one is, a request is read a single time and not answered. Nothing is passed on or sold, photographs included, and every request is erased no later than 30 days after it arrives. None of it is used to market anything to you.

Storage

Requests reach an inbox as an email, with photos attached. Krystal Hosting Ltd hosts the site on UK servers, and Gmail, run by Google, stores the email. Neither firm makes other use of it. Processing rests on legitimate interests, because the request was yours to send.

Your choices

You are entitled to see the information held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it erased early. Write to hello@ortonpatios.co.uk and expect a reply inside a month. To raise a concern with the regulator, contact the Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
